AUSTIN, Texas (May 10, 2020) – FloSports, the innovator in live sports streaming and original content, will stream the Professional Bowlers Association ‘2020 PBA League’ draft powered by BowlerX live on May 17. Due to COVID-19, the draft will be remotely produced by FloSports with managers making selections for their teams from their home locations. In total, over 50 elite draft-eligible professional bowlers will be available to fill 26 spots on 10 teams located across the country, including two all-new expansion teams. Coverage begins at 7:00 PM Eastern on FloBowling.

The PBA League, established in 2013 by the Professional Bowlers Association, features 5-player teams of the top bowlers in the world historically competing on eight original teams including Portland Lumberjacks, L.A. X, Dallas Strikers, NYC KingPins, Silver Lake Atom Splitters, Motown Muscle, Brooklyn Styles and Philadelphia Hitmen. The League will be adding two expansion clubs this season, the Las Vegas High Rollers and the Brew City Ballers (Milwaukee), bringing the number of teams to 10.

To be eligible for the draft, players must be ranked in the top 75 from a rolling PBA points list of 2019 and 2020 events. Headlining the list of eligible players are PBA champions Sean Rash, Francois Lavoie, Dick Allen, Andrew Anderson, BJ Moore, Jake Peters, Thomas Larsen, Jason Sterner, Ryan Ciminelli, DJ Archer, Osku Palermaa, Andres Gomez, Richard Teece, Ronnie Russell, Matt Ogle, Matt Sanders, Graham Fach, Ryan Shafer and Chris Loschetter. A full draft-eligible list is below.

PBA Tour Commissioner, Tom Clark, will preside over the draft. FloSports will produce this year’s PBA League Draft using a 12-person production team each working remotely in Austin, TX and other cities around the country. This year’s broadcast, available only on FloBowling, includes a 20-minute preshow featuring a preview of the draft as well as analysis and commentary from FloSports reporters and other guests. The League Draft show will include pre-taped packages, live interviews, video from team manager home offices as well as player reactions.
